빛의 선과 색으로 빛은 회화
실크스크린 기법으로 담아낸 시간과 자연의 여정
실크스크린 기법을 활용한 회화적 이미지는 색의 중첩 과정을 거쳐 15도의 색감으로
완성됐다. 이번 작업은 시간의 흐름 속에서 자연과 함께 살아가는 우리 삶을 표현하고자 했다.
일상에서 마주하는 풍경은 때때로 유년기의 동심을 떠올리게 한다. 살갗을 스치는 바람과 함께 뛰놀던 친구들은 어느새 어른이 되어 삶의 무게를 느끼며 추억을 되새긴다. 하지만 우리는 여전히 자연을 마주하며 무심히 하루하루를 지나친다. 자연도 우리네 삶처럼 끊임없이 생성과 소멸을 반복하며 변화를 거듭한다.
바쁜 일상 속에서 지친 현대인들은 자연을 그리워하며 때때로 숲을 거닐고, 명상을 하며 위로를 얻는다. 늘 곁에 있는 익숙한 풍경이지만, 계절의 흐름에 따라 변화하는
빛과 색채는 우리에게 기쁨과 감동을 선사한다. 사계절이 그러하듯, 우리 삶도 고되고
험난한 과정을 지나면서 각자의 역할을 다 해나간다.
겨울이 지나면 새싹이 돋고 꽃이 피며, 봄이 찾아온다. 새로운 계절의 시작과 함께 우리는 꿈과 희망을 안고 미래를 준비한다. 자연이 그렇듯, 우리의 삶도 그렇게 흘러간다.
이번 작품에서는 이러한 인생의 여정을 담아냈다. 버려진 세월의 흔적들, 퇴색된 이미지와 자연 풍경, 도로에 버려진 물건, 허물어진 건물, 길가에 핀 이름 모를 꽃들, 그리고 애지중지 키워낸 맨드라미와 장미, 나무들과 풍경들까지 모두 작품의 소재가 되었다.
이러한 풍경들은 해체와 재구성을 거쳐 드로잉과 색채의 변주로 조합되었으며, 실크스크린 기법을 활용해 레이어를 쌓아 기록하는 방식으로 표현되었다. 각 레이어를 분할하고 중첩하여 색의 변화를 통해 단조로운 이미지를 독창적으로 형상화했다.
작품은 단순한 풍경이 아닌 삶 속에서 느끼는 희로애락(喜怒哀樂)을 담아냈다. 그 여정은 곧 우리 모두의 역사이며, 지금 이 순간도 충분히 행복하고 의미 있는 삶을 살아왔음을 이야기한다. 사계절 속에서 피어나는 꽃과 같은 자화상을 통해, 관람객들에게 따뜻한 위로와 응원의 메시지를 전하고자 한다.

"This body of work captures such a journey of life. The traces of time left behind, faded images and natural landscapes, discarded objects on roads, dilapidated buildings, nameless flowers blooming by the wayside, and even cherished amaranth and roses, along with trees and scenery, all became the subjects of my art.“
"These landscapes have been deconstructed and recomposed, combined through variations of drawing and color, and expressed using silkscreen techniques to build layers as a form of recording. By dividing and overlapping each layer, I've uniquely shaped monotonous images through changes in color.“
"The artwork transcends mere landscapes, embodying the joys, sorrows, anger, and pleasures felt throughout life. That journey is our shared history, and it speaks to the fact that we have lived lives that are sufficiently happy and meaningful, even in this very moment. Through self-portraits that bloom like flowers within the four seasons, I aim to convey a message of warm comfort and encouragement to the viewers."

실크스크린 기법을 활용한 회화적 이미지는 색의 중첩 과정을 거쳐 15도의 색감으로
완성됐다. 이번 작업은 시간의 흐름 속에서 자연과 함께 살아가는 우리 삶을 표현하고자 했다.
