<부부회갑전- Couple’s 60th Anniversary Exhibition>
인생 60년, 이제는 편안히 ‘인생의 가을’을 맞을 줄 알았건만, 어느새 도자회화와 나전옻칠의 예술 세계에 발을 들여 새로운 밭을 갈고 씨를 뿌리는 설레는 ‘인생의 봄’을 다시 살게 되었습니다. 평생 초등학교 교사로 살아오다 이제는 나전옻칠을 천직처럼 삼아 작업에 몰두하는 한미경 작가, 그리고 엔지니어로 의료기기 제조회사를 경영하면서도 도자회화의 길을 걸어온 주경석 작가 부부가 함께 맞이한 회갑을 기념하며, 몇 해 동안 공들여 작업한 작품들을 모아 「부부회갑전」 으로 선보입니다.
After sixty years of life, we thought the time had come to enter a gentle autumn of our journey. Yet somehow, we stepped into the world of ceramic painting and mother-of-pearl lacquer, finding ourselves once again plowing new fields and sowing seeds in the vibrant spring of life. Artist Han Mi-Kyung, who spent her life as an elementary school teacher and now devotes herself to mother-of-pearl lacquer as if it were her true calling,
and Artist Joo Kyoung-Sug, an engineer and medical device entrepreneur who has also pursued the path of ceramic painting.
Together, on the occasion of their sixtieth year, they present “Couple’s 60소 Anniversary Exhibition”, gathering the works they have lovingly created over the past years.
